1. Data we collect

Angels Trade collects only the data strictly necessary for the service to function. Below is a breakdown of the types of data collected and how they are obtained:

We do not collect banking details, card numbers, identity documents, medical records, or any other sensitive financial or identity information. We do not perform automated profiling or automated decision-making with legal effects.

We do not use advertising tracking cookies and do not share data with third-party ad networks.

2. Purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for the following purposes:

Authentication and identity: So you can sign in and maintain your account.
Listing publication: To display your listings to other marketplace users.
User communication: To enable the chat between buyer and seller.
Reputation: To calculate and display user ratings.
Support: To respond if you contact us by email.
Security: To detect and prevent fraud, spam, or conduct contrary to the Terms.

We will not use your data to send you third-party advertising, sell it to other companies, or for any purpose other than those stated, unless we obtain your express consent.

3. Third-party transfers — Firebase and Google

Angels Trade uses Google Firebase (a Google LLC product) for authentication, database (Firestore), file storage (Storage), and hosting (Hosting). As a result, your data is processed by Google LLC on their servers.

Google LLC acts as a data processor under Angels Trade's instructions, and its processing is governed by Google Firebase's privacy policies and terms of service, available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Beyond Google Firebase, we do not transfer or sell your personal data to any third party, unless required by law or by a competent authority through a court order.

International transfer: Google Firebase may store and process data on servers located outside your country, including the United States. Google adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and equivalent safeguards. By using Angels Trade, you consent to this international transfer.

4. Local storage (localStorage and cookies)

Angels Trade uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) — not traditional cookies — to save user preferences locally on their device. Specifically:

at_lang — Selected language (always English)
at_server — Selected active game server
at_dev_ok — Development access confirmation

These values are not transmitted to our servers, remain only on your device, and can be deleted at any time by clearing your browser data.

Firebase Authentication may use its own cookies to keep the user signed in. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function and have no advertising purpose.

If you wish to delete your account and all your data, you can request this from your profile or by emailing the address above. Your listings will be marked as deleted and your personal data will be removed from our database within the stated timeframe.

6. Data security

Angels Trade implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. These measures include:

Encrypted communications via HTTPS/TLS.
Database access controlled through Firebase security rules.
Robust authentication through Firebase Authentication.
No plain-text password storage (managed by Firebase Auth).

However, no Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. If we detect a security breach affecting your data, we will notify you within a reasonable timeframe by email.

7. Minors

Angels Trade is not directed at children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below that age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data on our platform, please contact us at thurel18@gmail.com and we will promptly delete that information.

Users under 18 years of age must have authorization from their parents or guardians to use the platform and conduct any type of transaction.

8. Changes to this policy

Angels Trade reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where possible, notify users by email or through a notice on the site.

Continued use of the service after changes to this Policy are published constitutes acceptance of the new data processing terms.
